The Black Student Union at the University of Puget Sound was founded in 1968 by three students, the original BSU had nine active members. Currently, the BSU has over 40 active members/ allies, which include Students, Faculty and Staff. The BSU has had a long history here at UPS, and is one of the campuses oldest clubs. BSU has been responsible for implementing and demanding many changes for the betterment of all students of color.
