Abstract

In this article, the author focuses on the balancing of powers in an age of terror and discusses the effects of the war on terror, promoted by the U.S. It is stated that the war of terror had already caused many considerable problems for the constitutional balance of powers between the executive and legislative branches. It is mentioned that in an attempt to curb terrorism after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack, the U.S. government tried to expand the executive powers.
