Abstract
We plan to look at images of cause lawyers in recent movies. While films often generate positive images of those people victimized by corporate-caused harms, the lawyers who represent them are portrayed in ambiguous to negative ways that reaffirm popular stereotypes and advance the "turn against law." The heroes of these films are usually outsiders to the legal system who either operate independently of official law or use various outsider tactics to achieve justice in law. ..PAT.-Unpublished Manuscript
