Abstract
This session presents examples of effective teaching practices in multicultural and multiracial classroom settings. The first presenter talks about how the application of multicultural students interacting transforms the pedagogical shift towards integration instead of reform.The second presenter follows the same theme of integration utilizing cross-generational exchanges that makes the educational approach highly effective. The third presenter talks about the study of how 10 undergraduate students initiated, designed and implemented a college course about mixed identities and racialized bodies.
