Abstract
Using our history as a foil for our present situation, students and staff from Peace Community Center's Hilltop Scholars program use their educational experiences to analyze the Tacoma School District's African American achievement gap, and offer potential solutions through the use of story, video, spoken word, round table conversations, acting, music, and dance.
